Visits restart at HMPs Northumberland, Kirklevington, Frankland, Low Newton and Holme House

Social visits at HMP Northumberland, HMP Kirklevington Grange, HMP Frankland, HMP&YOI Low Newton and HMP Holme House have now restarted.

Information will be provided to visitors on the new arrangements at the time of booking and at HMP Northumberland, where the residents books the visit, information has been sent from the prison to all family members/contacts. 

We all understand how important social visits are and the impact of these having been suspended during the critical Covid-19 period over recent weeks.

The new ways of operating during social visits will feel different at first. We would therefore ask all visitors to be please be patient, courteous and understanding of our new ways of working. Nepacs and prison staff will do their very best to try to make the visit experience as enjoyable as it can be.
